I have been getting together all the parts I need for a knife grinder. the first stumbling block I ran into was the price of things that need.
Needed:
- Motor
- Tracking wheels
- other things
A 1 1/2HP motor was around 160 dollars and the wheels are over 200 dollars. WOW! that is 400 dollars right there!
So my air compressor took a dump and decided to replace it with a oil version, which cost 99 dollars, and going to sacrifice the motor for my grinder and the tank for a large sized forge. I also found some nice metal wheels for pallet jack for 50dollars. so just in the same three parts I have 150 invested so far.
